Bob McFate expresses himself with several different art forms. Artistic talent runs in his family, as all three of his brothers are artists. They were introduced to art by their mother, an oil painter.
After high school, Bob airbrushed in Panama City Beach, Fla. A few years later he was drawn to Springfield, Missouri because of the Bransom tourism. After working in a t-shirt shop in a local mall, Bob opened his own store, called Air Wear Studio. he currently owns and operates Old Mill Mural Company located in Pikeville, Tn.
While in the Ozarks, Bob estimates that he painted approximately 150 murals. His works can be seen at more than 44 schools in the Springfield, Mo. area. Specializing in airbrush, the artist also produced a line of t-shirts and teaches airbrush classes.
Locally, Bob has added a few projects to his dossier, including: a mural for Van Buren County Head Start, Rock House Cafe, Fall Creek Falls Falls State Park, Bledsoe County Middle School, Dunlap City Hall, Faith Baptist Church, Bethel Church of Christ.
The artist is always looking for new challenges and operates under the name of Old Mill Mural Company. The name derives from from his location at the head of the Sequatchie Valley on Lowes Gap Road, just across from the old Litton Mill Site.
In addition to Bob volunteering his time to teach art to local 5th graders at Pikeville Elementary, he is a member of the A.H.O.S.T. art club, Nine Mile Volunteer Fire Department and attends Faith Baptist Church with his wife of 22 years. Angie.

http://www.loxleystudio.com Welcome to Loxley Studio, Fine Art Animal Portraiture from Sherry Gore-Paglen. Immortalize your "Best Friend".
"Horses are the magic that move my soul. |
My dream, my life, my love, is Animals, especially horses. I paint in acrylics and pastels as well as graphic sketches. My goal is to capture the soul of the animal. I believe the eye is the "window to the soul" in all living things. My art is meant to set you dreaming!
Photograhy is another passion, and I have most recently won an award from the National Photography Society in Washington, D.C. The photo is of my horse, and is named "Eye of My Beloved."
In my studio, "Loxley Studio," all kinds of card are made: note cards, thank you cards and general note cards--all taken from my own photography collection. Christmas cards are delightful animal scenes.
I am also in the process of creating inspirational plaques which make you think. They are also excellent gifts for any occasion.
Lastly, I amke wooden horse shoe racks, that can be personalized for an additional charge. They are constructed with a solid brass horse shoe in various sizes, including bright colored ones for your little buckaroo's room.
Commission work is accepted for most of my work. Examples of my work can be seen at Log Cabin Days Fine Arts and Crafts Festival the third weekend in May annually in Pikeville, TN. My art is available for sale and viewing at http://www.loxleystudio.com, and new work is added regularly. Email: jpaglen@bledsoe.net or call 423-447-5157 or 423-322-2282.
