ARTIST HANDS OF SEQUATCHIE
TERRITORY, A.H.O.S.T., is a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)
dedicated
to the preservation of folk and traditional arts and crafts, is inviting
you to join us for a rich cultural experience in the beautiful
Sequatchie Valley of southeast Tennessee.
On May 17th and
18th, 2008
(Sat. 9 am-5pm and Sun. 11 am-5pm CST) A.H.O.S.T. (Artists Hands of
Sequatchie Territory) will host its 3rd annual Log Cabin Days Arts and Crafts Show.
This show will be held at McBay's Log Cabin Village two (2) miles north of
Pikeville, TN on U.S. Highway 127. The location is approximately a
50
minute drive from Chattanooga, 90 minutes from Nashville or Knoxville, with easy access
and free parking and free admission. Camping will be available in the rough.
Purpose: To recognize and preserve folk and traditional arts and crafts, as well as encourage and offer support to our members and their talents; and to promote opportunities for learning and growing.

Our Visions:
1. To conduct a free summer art camp for
kids.
2 To offer community concerts and dances.
3. To produce exhibits and art show highlighting local talent, as
well as establishing and arts and crafts colony
where we will have shops, galleries and classrooms.
4. To provide continuing art education programs in area schools.
| We welcome all artists of any medium or genre: musicians, poets, writers, dancers, actors, singers, sculptors, woodcrafters, bonsai or plant artists, painters, clay, fabric, knit-crochet-sewing, magicians, weavers, spinners, basketmakers---the list is endless. However, all work must be handmade by the artist. We also welcome any volunteers, visitors or those who just want to learn or help.
